Airbnb’s “Wall and Chain” campaign revolves around a West German border guard who leaves the city before the fall of the Berlin Wall. After settling in Demark, the Wall served as a barrier between him and his family. His daughter makes a plan of Berlin trip through Airbnb to show him the current state of the city. The former East German guard welcomes them into his home and releases him from a burden he had been carrying for long. The campaign is a true depiction of hospitality and resilience of the human spirit that the brand captured in a totally unique and authentic way. This beautiful heartwarming story encourages people all around the globe to open their homes and break down the wall that divides us.
